Mayoral Candidates Discuss Active Transportation

Mayoral Candidates Discuss Active Transportation: on Mon., Feb. 6, 7pm, Lincoln Hall, PSU, Portland (click on Lincoln Hall for directions). The forum will pose questions to mayoral candidates Eileen Brady, Charlie Hales, and Jefferson Smith on active transportation in the Portland metropolitan area.  Candidates will be given an opportunity to voice their opinions on a range of transportation issues.  Topics will include public transit, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, equity considerations, funding concerns, public health and safety, and projects that impact the Portland region. The forum is open to the public, admission is free, and seats will be filled on a first-come basis.  Language interpretation and child care can be arranged by contacting Heidi Guenin, 503-284-6390, heidi [at] upstreampublichealth [dot] org, by January 30.
